Biography:
Calzada de Calatrava, province of Ciudad Real 1963.
In 1975 Ramon starts to attend the School of Arts and Crafts. where it is initiated in the art of forging by Master Ephraim, which transmits him the secrets of Iron.
In 1987, continues his studies at the school in the School of Arts of Ciudad Real, getting drawing and painting classes with Professor Miguel Calatayud, and a year later, in 1988 he moves to the School of Arts in Toledo to continue his studies in the specialty of Forge. Toledo becomes his new residence; there he knows the grand masters of the Iron Antonio Balmaseda, and J. Arellano Antonio Sanchez, among others.
In 1990 he begins to develop his study on new ways to forge traditional, one year later, in 1991 for the first time, his work is recognized in the Design Applied to the crafts of Castilla-La Mancha, giving Honorable mention to the artisan work. Since that moment his work is being recognized for recovering ancient techniques of forging, granting him the 2nd Craftsman Design Award in 1994 and a 1st prize in the contest Unique piece in 2001.
In 2006, 1st Award for Design applied to the Crafts, and Gold Metal Sculpture Prize, Cenimed, Madrid.
In 2002 the Ministry of Industry and Tourism of Castilla-La Mancha gives him the title of Master Craftsman. Throughout these years, Ramon exhibits her works in various trade fairs and exhibitions, among many others:
